This Privacy Policy describes how Cross Digital Ventures LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you interact with our websites and applications, including crossdigitalventures.app, theoperatorplaybook.org, the Operator Playbook Autoposter application (TikTok Developer App ID 7635439749385193492), Master Mechanical Buddy, and our public social media presence (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. Your email address if you subscribe to a newsletter or create an account. Your name, business information, or payment information if you purchase a paid product (Master Mechanical Buddy). Any content you send us directly, including support emails.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites, our hosting and analytics providers (Vercel, beehiiv, Cloudflare) automatically log your IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed. This data is used to keep the Services running and to detect abuse.

Information from TikTok (Operator Playbook Autoposter only). The Operator Playbook Autoposter is an internal application that posts our own Operator Playbook short-form video content to our own TikTok account via TikTok's official Content Posting API. When the application is authorized by the TikTok account owner (Cross Digital Ventures LLC), TikTok shares the following data with us through the requested OAuth scopes:

user.info.basic / user.info.profile / user.info.stats: the account's display name, avatar URL, follower count, video count, and likes count, used to confirm the correct account is connected and to compute baseline performance metrics.
video.list: the list of videos previously published by the account, used to compute per-pillar performance for our internal content-planning loop.
video.upload / video.publish: an upload session for new video content the application schedules on behalf of the account owner. This scope is used only to publish our own content to our own account.

The Operator Playbook Autoposter does not interact with any TikTok user accounts other than the one owned by Cross Digital Ventures LLC. It does not collect, store, or process information about other TikTok users.

Cookies. Our marketing websites use a small number of essential cookies. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

2. How we use your information

To deliver the Services you signed up for (e.g., send the newsletter, grant access to the Master Mechanical Buddy app, publish video content from the autoposter).
To reply to messages you send us.
To measure which content and product features are useful so we can publish and build more of what works.
To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Service providers we use to operate the Services — including Vercel (web hosting), beehiiv (newsletter), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI model inference for Master Mechanical Buddy's tutor and study-guide features), Supabase (database), and TikTok (the platform we publish content to). These providers may process your data only on our instructions and only to the extent necessary to provide their services to us.
Law enforcement or regulators if we are legally required to do so or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of users, or the public.
A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred.

4. Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe at any time; we then retain only what's necessary to record that unsubscribe (typically a hashed email).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@crossdigitalventures.app. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users of authenticated Services.
