We operate a small portfolio of internet-native products. Some Services are public (open websites, newsletters, social media accounts); others are user-authenticated (an app for HVAC exam preparation, internal tooling for our own content publishing). The Operator Playbook Autoposter is an internal-use application that publishes our Operator Playbook short-form video content to our own TikTok account via TikTok's official Content Posting API.
We may add, remove, change, or discontinue any Service at any time without notice.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement.
Where a Service requires an account or subscription (Master Mechanical Buddy, the Operator Playbook newsletter), you are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information and the security of any password. You may close your account at any time.
Content we publish (articles, videos, courses, study guides, code) is owned by Cross Digital Ventures LLC unless otherwise indicated. You may view it in connection with your personal use of the Services but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law (e.g., fair use, fair dealing).

The Services interoperate with third-party platforms — including TikTok, beehiiv, Stripe, Vercel, and others. Your use of those third parties is governed by their terms; we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
The Services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Educational content in the Services (including Operator Playbook articles and Master Mechanical Buddy practice materials) is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. Always verify against your local code, regulator, or qualified professional before acting on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cross Digital Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
We may suspend or terminate your access to any Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where applicable, notify users of authenticated Services through reasonable means. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
